Flags

I am seeing flags all over Bay View.

These are just a few.

John M. Hall Auditorium

Mmm...cherry pie!

My flower box

THe Speaker's Stand with the auditorium in the background.

What I THOUGHT was a random cottage,
actually owned by a friend

WHO lives in Pittsburgh!
We will be neighbors
(practically),
I loved the reflection of the flag in the window.

Woman's Council

Woman's Council meets once a week.
We have a business meeting,
a program,
and a tea.

This program was about "Generations"
and the trends associated with them.

ladies listening raptly,

I love the tea.

Everything is so perfect and dainty.
THe most delicious pineapple punch was served.

So refreshing!

Look!
It's not just for ladies.
Mr. came too!

Summer...

Our cousin came to visit...
and learned to ride a bike!

Bathing beauties

A sporty cousin fishing for freshwater crayfish
using bacon for bait.

On the pier

Our lovely beach

I love the view
of the crowded beach
with the sail house in the background.

It makes me feel as though I am living in a beautiful painting.

4th of July, family-style

Hometown celebrations don't get better
than in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan
where the sun doesn't set
until nearly 11PM.

Actually we were rained out on the 4th.
The peace of Perch lake was disturbed on the 3rd
for a private family show.
Lucky us.

Pet Parade theme this year was Mardi Gras.
The crowd love it.
So did the kids.
They loved the bead throwing.

Once again, Rick did a super job at the water fight.
It's all fun and games
until they spray the crowd!

Phil took some water...

The holiday spread....
yum!

Grandma in her Mardi Gras beads.

More later!
